    Walk This Way: How Well Do You Know and Support YOUR Business? 

    Topic Overview:  ** Rare HRCI Business Credits for Attendees **

    The business imperative for the human resources practitioner is to understand the direction and the depth of their business. Often, the HR pro is only exposed to transactional components of the employee life cycle (which is important to know!). The strategic business partner with an eye on economic and competitive market landscapes provides invaluable direction to organizational leadership. 

    In this session, we will discuss a roadmap for changing the perception of human resources to include transformational interaction and business know-how. Areas of study including industry trends, market benchmarking, and change management will be presented. 

    We will also include the opportunity to address the fear associated with change. How can we problem solve confidently without fear? We will examine risk as it relates to change. 

    Learning Objectives:
    • To be able to foster a plan towards business strategy including process management and operational excellence. 
    • To be able to develop a change management plan for strategic human resources and its involvement in business planning and decision making.
    • To be able to identify areas of risk in business alignment for human resources and develop talking points to remain confident in approach.

John is currently the President of Humareso, a global human resources consulting firm. He is married and the proud parent of 3 amazing young adults.
